Location: Augusta or Auburn (flexible based on candidate)

We’re looking for a Recruiter & Staffing Professional to support and build our business throughout Central Maine – from Auburn to Rockland. This position pays a competitive hourly rate plus incentives and is permanent, full‑time role.

Typical daily duties:
- Getting to know local businesses so you can understand their hiring needs
- Finding great candidates through databases, community partners, and your own networking
- Responding timely and efficiently to applicants, completing interviews, and onboarding and compliance
- Presenting candidates in a clear, thoughtful way to hiring partners and following up with clients and candidates through process
- Working with clients and associates to handle any performance issues
- Growing business relationships through outreach, visits, and service‑focused conversations
- Handling administrative tasks like data entry, documentation, phone support, and greeting walk‑ins
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in staffing and recruiting is helpful, but not required – we are willing to train candidates that have the right skills, attitude, and abilities
- An understanding of the interview process, compliance, and screening candidates for qualifications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfort shifting between tasks as priorities change
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to locate or remember important information
- Someone who can connect with people at all levels — from first‑time job seekers to seasoned professionals and executives
