Outdoor Field Installation Laborers – Career Path, Paid Travel & OT

Our client is urgently hiring multiple Outdoor Field Installation Laborers to support growing project demand. These are Maine‑based roles with regional travel (no relocation). Positions pay $20–$24/hour and are direct hire, offering long‑term  stability, paid travel, and strong overtime opportunities—especially during the summer months.

These are hands‑on, outdoor, team‑based roles ideal for people who enjoy physical work, learning a skilled trade, and building a long‑term career in industrial installation and repair. The client provides paid lodging, meals, PPE, and travel support, making this an excellent opportunity for reliable, safety‑minded workers who take pride in quality workmanship.

Typical daily duties:

• Work outdoors as part of a field crew installing, repairing, and servicing industrial‑grade plastic piping systems
• Perform culvert repairs, epoxy applications, and grouting at active job sites
• Fabricate plastic pipe fittings in the shop to meet customer specifications
• Travel throughout New England for project work (minimal winter travel, heavier summer schedule)
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow all job‑site safety rules, PPE requirements, and hazard awareness procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Strong safety awareness and commitment to working safely on outdoor job sites
• Carpentry, construction, or general labor experience with basic hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, respirator fit test, and work while wearing a respirator
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
