Pay Rate: $28–30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (optional OT on Fridays)

Our client in Gorham is urgently hiring a Temporary Dimensional / Precision Inspector to support high‑quality machining operations. This position pays $28–30/hour and is expected to last 3–6 months, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced inspector seeking strong pay, meaningful work, and flexibility without a long-term commitment.

Typical daily duties:

• Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Conduct first‑article and in‑process inspections to verify parts meet engineering drawings and specifications
• Inspect incoming raw materials and components for dimensional accuracy
• Accurately document and record inspection results and communicate findings to the production team

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with dimensional inspection in a machining or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (GD&T exposure a plus)
• Strong problem‑solving skills with basic math and trigonometry knowledge
• Detail‑oriented team player comfortable in a fast‑paced shop environment
• Ability to pass a background check
