Manpower Associate Holiday Pay Policy and FAQs
Manpower associates are eligible to be paid for any of these holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. To qualify for each paid holiday, you must have worked 1800 hours during the 52 weeks prior to the holiday. You must also be currently working on an assignment at the time of the holiday. Currently working is defined as working during the week ending prior to the holiday and the week ending of the holiday.
NOTE: Paid Holidays are not applicable to Wagemaster (client-recruited) associates.
A: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and/or Christmas Day
A: You qualify if:
You have worked a minimum of 1800 hours within the 52 weeks preceding the holiday.
You are currently working on an assignment at the time of the Holiday.
Currently working is defined as working during the week ending prior to the holiday and the week ending of the holiday.
You must submit hours for the week in which the holiday falls.
A: Since the qualifying hours are calculated on the 52 weeks prior to the holiday, they are not calculated or available until the hours for the week just before the holiday are finished processing. This typically occurs on the Thursday after the holiday week.
A: Associates who qualify will receive an automatic system-generated holiday payment. This payment is processed on the Wednesday following the holiday week ending date. The holiday payment is usually separate from your regular hours-worked payment and is expected to post to direct deposit accounts on the subsequent Friday.
A: Holiday pay will be 8 hours at your current hourly wage.
A: If you feel you meet the qualifying criteria and were not paid, please reach out to your Manpower office. They can assist you and conduct the necessary research to address any discrepancies. Contact your Manpower office after the Thursday following the holiday week ending date to inquire about your holiday payment.
