Sample Collectors – Help Protect the Food Supply

Pay Rate: $17.00 – $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM & 3:30 PM-11:00 PM
Assignment Length: Long-Term Temp

Our client is hiring Sample Collectors to support Maine’s agricultural industry through hands-on inspection and grading work. These positions pay $17.00-$17.50 per hour and are expected to last approximately 10 months, with opportunities for additional assignments for reliable, motivated workers.

Location: Work is performed in Easton, ME. Training and onboarding paperwork must be completed in Presque Isle.

Typical daily duties:

• Collect potato samples for inspection and testing
• Inspect, grade, and sort potatoes according to quality and size standards
• Maintain accurate records and follow all safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow directions accurately
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and work in a production-style environment
• Excellent attendance and reliability
