Strategic Sourcing Manager – IT & Technology Procurement
Pay Rate: $40–50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Assignment Length: Long-term temporary
Manpower is currently hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager for IDEXX in Westbrook, Maine. Typical daily duties:
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT categories including hardware, software, telecommunications, and IT services
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and quality requirements for high-value and technically complex contracts
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, risk, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with internal IT stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable scopes of work
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives and support best practices across global IT contracting processes
• Oversee contract management, supplier reviews, issue resolution, and supply market monitoring
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Indirect Procurement supporting IT or technology projects
• Experience with technology and software contract negotiations and RFP management
• Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage complex sourcing projects and drive continuous improvement
