Engineer – Supplier Development Quality
Pay Rate: $44.68/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Assignment Length: Temporary – 9 months
Manpower is partnering with a highly respected client in the medical and life‑science space to hire a Supplier Development Quality Engineer for an assignment in Scarborough, Maine. Typical daily duties:
• Support supplier selection, evaluation, and material qualification activities
• Perform receiving inspection and part qualification support
• Maintain and manage controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specifications)
• Support IVDR compliance activities, including documentation readiness
• Assist with change control activities (CNs, ECOs, deviations, CAPAs)
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
• Perform receiving inspection and part qualification support
• Maintain and manage controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specifications)
• Support IVDR compliance activities, including documentation readiness
• Assist with change control activities (CNs, ECOs, deviations, CAPAs)
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
What we’re looking for:
• IVDR, IVD, or ISO 13485 regulatory experience (direct IVDR or ISO 13485 strongly preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with compliance‑heavy, administrative work
• Experience supporting change control processes and quality documentation
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a regulated manufacturing environment

Strongly Preferred:
• Part, supplier, or process qualification support experience
• eQMS experience (Agile, TrackWise, Veeva, MasterControl, EtQ)
• Microsoft Excel proficiency for trackers and reporting
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
