Seasonal Potato Inspector – Flexible Schedule & Independent Work

Starting Pay: $16–$17/hour (DOE)
Seasonal Assignment | Starts July 21 (could move to another position when assignment complete)

We’re hiring a Seasonal Potato Inspector to help ensure quality standards for one of Maine’s most iconic agricultural exports. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the process from the ground up—literally.

What You’ll Do:

• Travel to local loading sites (mainly McCain in Easton) to inspect outgoing potato shipments
• Complete and manage documentation
• Issue certificates ensuring compliance with export standards
• Verify product quality and accuracy of each load
• Maintain clear, accurate records and follow procedures
  🛻 Occasional travel further north may be required — paid mileage included.

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable with a valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexible schedule, with occasional Saturday work
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor/agricultural environment

🌱 Bonus: The right candidate may transition into a seasonal sampler role continuing through mid-spring as part of the client’s year-round sampling program.
