Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6a-4:30p + overtime on Fridays as needed

Looking for a hands-on role where you can expand your skills and gain experience across multiple areas of production? We’re hiring Production Builders, Painters & Laborers for a popular client in Pittsfield. These positions offer temporary employment with potential for permanent placement and provide an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills that transfer across manufacturing, construction, finishing, and production environments.

This is a skill-building production role where you can develop hands-on experience in production building, assembly, materials handling, and finishing processes while learning from experienced professionals. It’s an excellent opportunity for recent high school or trade school graduates, individuals looking for a career change, or skilled hobbyists ready to turn their talents into a career and re-enter the workforce.
Candidates with backgrounds in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, woodworking, or autobody painting and finishing will find many of their skills transfer well to this environment, with opportunities to gain experience that can open doors to future production, finishing, and painting roles.

Typical daily duties:

  • Assisting the production team with parts preparation and material handling
  • Assembly and building of fixtures and products
  • Loading and unloading paint racks and supporting finishing processes
  • Performing quality assurance checks to ensure products meet standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to read a tape measure through 16ths
  • General labor, construction, manufacturing, finishing, or related hands-on experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Adaptability to work in multiple areas including paint/stain, parts prep, material handling, and production building
  • Candidates with autobody painting, spray finishing, or related experience are encouraged to apply
