Our client is seeking multiple Senior Manufacturing Engineers – CNC/CAM Programming to support advanced manufacturing operations in Bangor. These opportunities offer competitive pay of $45-$59/hr and are open-ended assignments with potential for permanent hire.
This is a great opportunity for experienced CNC programming professionals to work on large-scale, high-precision manufacturing projects, utilizing advanced CAD/CAM technologies, multi-axis machining, macro-based programming, and continuous process improvement initiatives in a complex manufacturing environment.

Typical daily duties:

  • Generate, optimize, verify, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, Vericut, and related software for milling, turning, and grinding applications
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, support machine startups and process improvements, and provide daily technical guidance to manufacturing teams and machine operators
  • Lead process improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, delivery performance, tooling optimization, fixturing requirements, and production readiness

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with manufacturing or operations experience, plus additional manufacturing experience
  • Extensive CNC programming experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls, including advanced macro programming such as Fanuc Macro B, Okuma Macros, Siemens Macros, and Renishaw probing routines
  • Hands-on manufacturing experience machining complex components and exotic materials, strong problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, GD&T, and 3D modeling software
