Our client in Sanford is actively hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a priority opening offering $95K a year and a direct placement, with outstanding benefits available starting on day one.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll have the opportunity to work on new and existing product designs, collaborate across departments, and support manufacturing and customers – all while enjoying a strong work-life balance and exceptional benefits.

Typical daily duties:

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for new and existing products
  • Analyze electrical issues and provide solutions across R&D, Manufacturing, and Technical Support
  • Prepare and maintain product documentation, ECRs, and ECNs for product improvements
  • Provide expertise in electrical testing procedures and support third-party testing organizations
  • Research, qualify, and implement replacement components for obsolete or unavailable parts

What we’re looking for:

  • BSEE required with 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Hands-on wiring, assembly, and board-level design experience
  • Higher-level programming experience and equipment design background
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods and perform occasional lifting (30–40 lbs.)
  • Experience working with sheet metal and elevated work areas a plus

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC, structured problem solving, and change management
  • Background in FDA, ISO, GMP, cGMP, and ISO 13485 regulated environments
  • Technical expertise in automation, fabrication principles, CAD, materials testing, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and engineering documentation
