Pay Rate: $44 per hour
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am
Assignment Length: Anticipated Through 2026

We’re hiring Experienced Quality Engineers for an immediate overnight opportunity with our client in Westbrook. Join a team focused on advancing manufacturing excellence through quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. These positions pay $44 per hour and are anticipated to continue through 2026.

This is a high-impact engineering role supporting manufacturing process improvements, risk management activities, and quality/cost savings initiatives while ensuring compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety standards. Typical daily duties:

• Support manufacturing process improvements and quality/cost savings initiatives
• Lead and participate in product risk management activities, hazard analyses, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Evaluate manufacturing non-conformances, complaints, and quality issues to determine risk and corrective actions
• Develop and maintain documentation supporting FDA, ISO, and quality system requirements
• Conduct material testing evaluations and support measurement and validation activities
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts within regulated manufacturing environments

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with database software, CAD software, development software, internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, project management software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with a variety of material testing and measuring methods
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environments
• Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab
• Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices
• Experience supporting risk management, quality systems, or continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment

Our client is seeking multiple Senior Manufacturing Engineers – CNC/CAM Programming to support advanced manufacturing operations in Bangor. These opportunities offer competitive pay of $45-$59/hr and are open-ended assignments with potential for permanent hire.
This is a great opportunity for experienced CNC programming professionals to work on large-scale, high-precision manufacturing projects, utilizing advanced CAD/CAM technologies, multi-axis machining, macro-based programming, and continuous process improvement initiatives in a complex manufacturing environment.

Typical daily duties:

  • Generate, optimize, verify, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, Vericut, and related software for milling, turning, and grinding applications
  • Troubleshoot CNC programming issues, support machine startups and process improvements, and provide daily technical guidance to manufacturing teams and machine operators
  • Lead process improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, delivery performance, tooling optimization, fixturing requirements, and production readiness

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with manufacturing or operations experience, plus additional manufacturing experience
  • Extensive CNC programming experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls, including advanced macro programming such as Fanuc Macro B, Okuma Macros, Siemens Macros, and Renishaw probing routines
  • Hands-on manufacturing experience machining complex components and exotic materials, strong problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, GD&T, and 3D modeling software
