Quality Technician – Textile Manufacturing
Pay: up to $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days
Assignment Length: Direct-Hire
Be the one who catches problems before they become issues.
We’re hiring a Quality Technician for a direct-hire role with a global leader that’s proud to call Maine home. This isn’t just about checking boxes – it’s about making sure every part and product meets strict standards before moving forward.
In this role, you’ll be the critical link between production, shipping, and safety—inspecting materials, running tests, keeping detailed records, and making sure every product that leaves the floor is built to perform in aerospace, protective gear, and other industries where lives and safety depend on it.
It’s hands-on, fast-paced work where attention to detail is as crucial as keeping the line moving. You’ll help catch issues early, keep quality high, and make sure nothing leaves the building unless it’s done right. If you take pride in precision and protecting your team’s reputation, we want to hear from you.
Some of the Perks:
- Up to $30 per hour
- $1k sign-on bonus
- 16 Days of ETO
- 12 Paid Holidays (including winter closure)

Daily Responsibilities:
- Performing routine inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process textiles, and finished goods to ensure they meet the highest standards
- Documenting and reporting inspection, test results, and non-conformance issues to share with essential team members
- Maintaining accurate equipment calibration to ensure proper measurements
- Identifying any quality issues and collaborating quickly and effectively with the production teams to implement corrective and preventative measures to avoid ongoing issues
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with calibration equipment and AS9100 requirements
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- CQI Certification (preferred but not required)
