Weekend Machine Operators in Portland

Schedule: Weekends Only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Shift: 1st Shift (12 Hours – 5:45 am to 6:15 pm)

Pay: $18 per hour

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our crew as Weekend Machine Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking weekend work and the chance to be part of a small, close-knit team. Responsibilities:

• Operate machines by loading and unloading parts according to standard work instructions.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspection of parts to maintain quality standards.
• Assist in basic job set-up and trouble-shooting minor equipment issues.
• Report any improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, unsafe conditions, or unusual occurrences to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in working with process sheets and knowledge of SPC requirements
• Good mechanical aptitude and proficiency in general shop math, including decimals and measurements with very close tolerances
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
